Steven Scholl has worked in publishing since 1990, beginning as a staff member at the legendary independent bookstore Book Soup in West Hollywood, California, and as the founding publisher of White Cloud Press. He has been serving as a literary agent and consultant to publishers and authors since 2018. The WaterStone Agency is an eclectic agency specializing in literary fiction, voice-driven mysteries and thrillers, memoir, narrative non-fiction, children’s books, YA, sci-fi, self-help, and spirituality. Steve graduated from the University of Oregon (Religious Studies) and McGill University (Islamic Studies). He is based in Los Angeles but also works from remote beaches in the Americas and Asia.
